Zhan Wang

Zhan Wang leads a diverse team in AIIB responsible for corporate procurement, facilities management, administrative services, records and information, and security and emergency. Since 2020, Wang, as Manager, led the Administrative and Facilities Services Division. He oversaw the Bank’s travel policy, institutional carbon emission management, and corporate insurance management, as well as supported the Bank from various areas involving administrative and facility services. Prior to joining AIIB in 2016, Wang held senior positions in the Ministry of Finance, China, where he supervised the annual budget implementation for various government departments and managed China's contributions to international organizations. He also played a key role in the Multilateral Interim Secretariat and the Working Group for the Establishment of AIIB, participating in negotiations and the initial setups for the Bank. He has a Ph.D. in Business Management from the Central University of Finance and Economics. Wang is from the People’s Republic of China.
